Frequently Asked Questions

 

  • How much is the deposit?

    • The deposit is 25% of your total invoice and is due upon receipt.

  • Do you all take payments automatically?

    • Payments can be requested to be drawn automatically. Please indicate on your Payment Authorization Form the amount you would like to pay and the date you would like your payments to be processed.

  • Do you offer travel protection?

    • Yes, travel protection is offered by Travel Insured. Please visit the Travel Protection page of the website for more information.

  • Can I book my flight on my own?

    • Yes, KT Travel & More LLC does not book flights for wedding groups.

  • How do I submit payment?

    • You will submit your payment using the Credit Card Authorization Form once you receive your invoice. Please allow 24-48 hours for your payment to be processed. All payments are entered manually by KT Travel & More LLC.

  • Can I add a roommate to my reservation after I have booked my reservation as single occupancy?

    • While you may be able to add guests to your reservation, please consult with Javin and Renee about adding additional guests.

  • Is transportation to and from the airport included?

    • Transportation is offered by Lomas Travel at the cost of $75.00 USD per person round trip. This is a direct transfer service only for guests of the Swearinger Wedding.

  • What should I do if I need to cancel my reservation?

  • Can we request rooming next to our family/friends?

    • Yes, special requests can be made for you to have a room next to your family/friends, however, these requests are subject to availability and are not guaranteed. Please ensure that you and your family/friends are booked within the same room category if you are requesting a room near one another.

  • Can I request double beds?

    • We can accept your requests for double beds, however, please note that all bedding requests are based on availability and are not guaranteed.

  • Can I change my room after my reservation is made?

    • Room changes can be made up to 45 days prior to travel. Change requests made after 45 days prior to travel will incur a $150.00 change fee. Please note, these requests are subject to availability and are not guaranteed.

  • When can I book my flights?

    • Flight schedules for American Airlines, United Airlines and Delta Airlines are published 10 months in advance. All other airlines are 6-8 months, depending on the airline.

  • When is my final payment due?

    • Final payment for your room reservation is due no later than November 16, 2026. Final payments not received by 11:59 PM CST on November 16, 2026, will be cancelled.

  • What happens if I miss my flight?

    • Should you miss your flight, you can speak with a gate agent to get your flight rebooked. Please also be sure to notify me of your updated flight arrival so that I can rearrange your transportation to the resort. Please note, fees may be associated with your new transportation arrangements.

  • Can I modify my reservation after my reservation has been made?

    • Reservation modifications must be requested in writing and will not be accepted forty-five (45) days or less prior to check-in of the earliest reservation in the room block. Reservation modifications include, but are not limited to name changes, adding/removing a guest from the reservation, shifting of reservation dates, changes to room categories, etc. If reservations are requested to be changed less than forty-five (45) days prior to travel, a change fee of $150.00 per change will be billed to you via your invoice. Modification requests may not be approved by the resort. Reservation modifications will not be accepted within 14 days of travel for any reason.

  • Do you accept payments over the phone?

    • No, it is against company policy to accept payments over the phone. All payment requests must be made in writing via email, or by using the Credit Card Authorization Form.

  • What is the group name?

    • The group name is Swearinger Wedding.

  • What are the travel dates?

    • The current room block is between February 24-28, 2027. You can book your stay between these dates. Please note, the resort has a minimum 3-night requirement. Dates booked outside of this eligible date range are subject to availability.

  • What are the COVID-19 travel policies for Mexico?

    • There are no special requirements related to Covid-19 for travel to Mexico.

  • Is a passport required for travel?

    • Yes, a valid US Passport is required. Passport cards are not acceptable for international travel.

  • What airport are we flying to?

    • You will book your flights to fly into Cancun International Airport (CUN).

  • Does the resort have a dress code?

    • Please be advised that some resort restaurants may require long pants, collared shirts, and closed toe shoes. Please pack accordingly.
